Inaugural family-friendly race builds community and promotes fundraising
benefitting Loudoun County charities

Sterling, VA – The Dulles Greenway is hosting its inaugural Run the Greenway Race on May 1, 2021. The family friendly event provides a socially distant convening opportunity and fundraising vehicle for BETTERALIFE INC. and 23 participating Loudoun County, Virginia charities.

“The Dulles Greenway is committed to serving the Loudoun community and we are honored to directly support the positive contributions that our charity partners are making in our local community during this difficult time,” said TRIP II CEO Renée N. Hamilton. “We are excited to welcome the region’s runners and their families to the first annual Run the Greenway race and we are pleased to be able to offer our non-profit partners a powerful fundraising platform that will help them advance their important work.”

All fundraising funds from Run the Greenway will benefit Loudoun County charities. BETTERALIFE INC. has registered a growing team of runners and fundraisers and we are encouraging our members and partners to join our team of supporters as 100 percent of funds raised will go directly to BETTERALIFE INC.  In addition, Dulles Greenway will donate $5,000, $2,500, and $1,000 to participating charities and individuals who raise the largest amount of money. The toll road will also donate $1,000 to select participating charities on behalf of race winners.
